Becoming The Light

Once, I thought I was lost in the dark.

Stumbling through the thick air of nothingness;

I would fall, again and again.

Never able to find the light, I was trapped.

My thoughts became monsters, hunting me down.

It took some time for me to realize

I wasn’t lost in the darkness, as I had imagined for so long.

I was the dark, simply lost within myself.

That was the moment that I not only turned on the light, I became the light.

  1. Lost in the darkness of my mind
It was hard, I was alone
    I wanted to give up
For something I fought very hard
Darkness was lost and I was in light
    That’s when I saw
    I was not alone
    Darkness was mine
    The fight was mine
    But thosr who loved me
    Were fighting harder than me
Blessed is me and people who have such friends and family
With than we can win fights and live happily
