Becoming The Light

Once, I thought I was lost in the dark.

Stumbling through the thick air of nothingness;

I would fall, again and again.

Never able to find the light, I was trapped.

My thoughts became monsters, hunting me down.

It took some time for me to realize

I wasn’t lost in the darkness, as I had imagined for so long.

I was the dark, simply lost within myself.

That was the moment that I not only turned on the light, I became the light.

  27. I can relate, I was about to complain and after reading this, I realized that I am in control of the decision that I’m about to take. It’s either I become the light or stay in darkness and I choose to be the light.
