I am a breeze, rustling through the Autumn leaves.
Crisp clean air that revitalizes the land.
I am a ray of sunshine, blanketing the Earth with my warmth.
Providing the light for all life.
I am the rain, washing the dust of the day away.
Breathing new life into everything I touch.
I am a tree, standing tall above the grass.
Holding firm in my roots, creating a shelter.
I am the sand, simple enough.
Infinite grains creating a pathway to walk the beach.
I am a wave, traveling the vast sea.
Finally, ending my life gracefully against the shore.

Hi Amber, new subscriber here. I notice this post has a dramatically higher number of Likes. May I ask if you promoted it using Blaze or some other tool? I ask because my blog site traffic has dropped dramatically recently, and I’m wondering if WordPress is using that to pressure me into paying for promotion. This really is a lovely, evocative poem, btw. Thanks!

Actually no I didn’t boost it .. this is a really old post and I repost it often because the algorithm seems to push it to the top of the discover page. I have never paid for promotion I think that’s a scam. My blog is just really old. Thank you for your comment. I really hope your site does better in the future. Try using tags that are popular that seems to help.

Oh, interesting I have wondered too! How do you repost? I think I know but not sure and have never done this.

So you repost it, rather than reblog it? The number of Likes is so high, I thought you meant you were reblogging it so the number of Likes on the original keeps going up.

Your poem beautifully captures the essence of nature and the interconnectedness of all life. The way you personify each element—breeze, sunshine, rain, tree, sand, and wave—brings a unique depth to the piece, reminding us of the cycles of renewal, strength, and grace in the world around us. Your words inspire reflection on both the simplicity and profound beauty of life’s natural rhythm. Keep writing, as your poetic voice has the power to inspire and uplift others!👍

I Am a Heart
I am a heart, torn and frayed,
A vessel once whole, now shadowed in shade.
Shattered to pieces, scattered, unbound,
Yet in my breaking, new strength is found.
Each fragment whispers a tale of grace,
Of love once cherished, of time and place.
Though broken, I rise, with light to impart,
For even in ruin, I remain a heart.
Greatness is born from trials we bear,
In every fracture, there’s hope to repair.
So here I stand, mended and true,
A heart that has broken, yet beats anew.
